Introduction:
The teacher will provide lessons specifically designed to improve the student's ability to work with the technicalities of materials relevant to the theme of the Master Studio in which they have chosen to work, as well as general content relevant to the understanding of all sculptors.
Course Structure and Content:
The specific content of the course will depend upon the theme of the Master Studio that the student is enrolled in, but will cover topics such as sculpture tools, studio setup, and more advanced techniques. This will be developed in consultation with the Master Studio theme artist and also the teacher of that studio.
Learning Objectives:
After completion of the course students will: *Have deepened their technical knowledge of sculpture, particularly in terms of the Master Studio in which they are enrolled; *Have learned technical knowledge about painting materials of a more generally applicable nature.
