Introduction:
This course introduces the approaches of the 4 Master Studios, and builds on the figure sculpting exercises that were undertaken in the Semester 1 course "Sculpture Fundamentals".
Course content and structure:
Students will sculpt the human figure in 4 different manners, according to the themes of the Master Studios that will be chosen at the end of Semester 2 prior to entering Semester 3.
Learning Objectives:
At completion of the course, students will: *Be able to understand through practical experience, and be able to describe the methodology/ approach of each of the 4 Master Studios that will be chosen in Semester 3; *Know tools and sequential approach of each of the 4 Master Studios.
